Online Panel Discussion: Human Dignity – Human Rights – Religions

As part of the seminar Human Dignity and Human Rights in the Context of Religious Traditions and Legal Orders, a panel discussion will be held on November 18, 2020 from 18:30 to 20:00 on the topic Human Dignity – Human Rights – Religions. Religious Communities as Pioneers and Defenders.

The panel discussion is organised by the Departments of Theological Ethics, Islamic Theological Studies, Jewish Studies and Canon Law and Religious Law.

The panelists will be

  • Werner Freistetter, Catholic Military Bishop
  • Michael Chalupka, Bishop of the Evangelical Church A. B. in Austria
  • Mohamed-Bassam Kabbani, Islamic Religious Community in Austria
  • Ingeborg Gabriel, emer. Prof. for Social Ethics (Vienna) and twice Special Representative of the OSCE

under the discussion chairmanship of Andreas Kowatsch, Prof. for Canon Law and Religious Law (Vienna).
