The publication Interreligiöse Hermeneutik in pluralen Gesellschaften. Begründungen, Herausforderungen, Chancen und Grenzen [Interreligious hermeneutics in plural societies. Reasons, challenges, opportunities and limits] by Dr. Şenol Yağdı and Ibrahim Koçyiğit, MA is available from Springer since 27 August 2024.
["Interreligious hermeneutics is proving to be indispensable for interreligious discourse in a globalised world characterised by cultural diversity and religious plurality. It provides a framework for constructive dialogue between different faiths and enables bridges to be built between different religious traditions. Against this background, this anthology makes an important contribution to the theological and religious pedagogical justifications of interreligious hermeneutics. The authors reflect from a theological and philosophical-hermeneutical perspective and examine various aspects, including interreligious approaches of the world religions, theological foundations for dialogue, the derivation of an interreligious hermeneutics from the sacred scriptures and the use of philosophical-hermeneutical concepts for the theological justification of interreligious dialogue.
This critical reflection and further development of a plurality-capable perspective in interreligious dialogue contributes to opening up new ways of dealing theologically with religious diversity."]
