The main objective of this project is to expand existing cooperations between the participating institutions and to promote intensive intercultural exchange. ASEA-UNINET, a network of universities from Europe and Southeast Asia, has been committed to promoting international education and research since its foundation. Today, the network comprises more than 90 universities from 16 different countries.

Through the financial support of ASEA-UNINET, the research project on Islamic religious education will take a significant step towards global cooperation. The close cooperation between the Department of Islamic-Theological Studies and the Indonesian universities will not only improve the quality of research and education, but also promote intercultural dialogue and understanding.
