During this month, Muslims fast from dawn to sunset and spend their days in prayer and supplication. At sunset, the fast is broken in the name of God, preferably in community, and thanks are given for God's mercy.
In these days of war and conflict, may God, with his mercy and forgiveness, lead humanity into a peaceful future and strengthen solidarity among peace-loving people.
