The talk took place on 21 May as part of the panel "Religion-related attitudes, stereotypes and prejudices in mono-, inter- and multi-religious contexts", in which Dr Yağdı also acted as panellist.
The topic of his talk was "The Interreligious Habitus of Islamic Religion Teachers in Austria. Struggling for Acceptance and Tolerance between Common Good Orientation and Self-interest". Dr. Yağdı's research sheds light on the challenges and opportunities that Islamic religion teachers in Austria experience in their striving for acceptance and tolerance.
