In his inaugural lecture, Assistant Professor Dr Tuğrul Kurt will speak on the topic of "Komparative Koranhermeneutik und interreligiöse Interdependenzen: Die Rolle der Isrāʾīliyyāt in der methodischen Erforschung islamischer Primärquellen" [Comparative Qur'anic hermeneutics and interreligious interdependencies: The Role of Isrāʾīliyyāt in the Methodological Study of Islamic Primary Sources]. The lecture will shed light on the deep structural connections and interdependencies of religious traditions, with a special focus on the research and interpretation of Islamic primary sources.
