Research in Islamic Religious Education deals with the life of Muslims in Europe. Realities of life and issues that Muslims do not know from their own traditions provide the basis for religious education in its new context. The research findings in the area of Islamic religious education enable Islamic theology to meet the life-world of children and adolescents and actively contributes to reform efforts in the Islamic community.
