The conference papers will ultimately be published as chapters in an edited volume.
We are interested in paper proposals that discuss "Peace Education and Religions" in relation to at least one of the following topics:

• Approaches to peace education
• Educational sciences and peace education
• Peace education and global learning
• Religious peace concepts
• Current curricula of churches, religious communities, and peace education
• Historical concepts of peace in religions
• Interreligious dialogue and world peace
• Reflections on religious conflicts
• Non-violent education and religions
• Non-violent handling of conflict
• Memory work and peace education
• Peace education in regions of tranquillity
• Peace education in various classroom models

Please direct questions and submit proposed titles, abstracts of no more than 300 words, and a brief curriculum vitae, including academic affiliation and a brief bibliography to Heidemarie Sonntag by September 1st, 2020. The language of the conference is English.
